Whether the problem stems from the normal wear and tear of aging,
injury, heredity or infection, SRMC’s orthopedic team helps patients
improve their condition and quality of life. A comprehensive
approach for joint replacement, for example, takes the patient
from pre-operative education and therapy through surgery to rehab.
The Hospital’s joint replacement program was admitted to the
International Organization for Standardization in February of 2003,
receiving the prestigious ISO:9001:2000 designation. For physicians
and the hospital, ISO 9001:2000 designation is an indicator that
processes are in place for high quality patient care.
